This is a new strain of virus, and since we don’t have the right immunity yet, people are contracting it so fast.

In order to ensure safety in your building, we should follow the advice given by the Centers for Disease Control. It is vital to have the right information if a person in your building gets sick. Proper sanitation should be applied.
- To stop the spread of the virus, make sure to close the area that was used by the sick person. Do not allow any person to enter the premises not unless the disinfection team is on the scene.
- Turn off the air conditioner. It is said that viruses like to stay in areas that are cold. Proper circulation is needed. Open all the doors and windows in the building. It is advised to leave the area as it is for 24 hours before sanitizing the area.
- All surfaces touched or used by the sick person should be deeply sanitized.
- Bleach is an effective cleaning material that can kill the virus. However, be reminded that this should be used in areas with good ventilation.
- When washing or cleaning other surfaces or areas in the building like carpets or anything that involves washing, use warm water.
- Cleaning personnel should have the proper personal protective equipment. Make sure that they were masks, gloves, and gowns throughout the cleaning process.
- After cleaning, throw everything that was used and proper handwashing right after.
